چکیده
This lecture summary discusses the foundations on which PAC Learning, a machine learning model, is based on. This model focuses on inductively learning an unknown target function, given only training examples of this target function and a space of candidate hypotheses. The questions that we will concern are how many training examples are sufficient to successfully learn the target function, and what level of confidence we may have regarding the chosen hypothesis and the probability of that it errs. We will show that it is possible to set quantitative bounds on these measures, depending on attributes of the learning problem.

• Assume there is a network of parallel lines from an origin to a destination as shown in figure 2.1. Several agents want to send a particular amount of traffic along a path from the source to the destination. The more traffic on a particular line, the longer the traffic delay. • Allocation jobs to machines as shown in figure 2.2. Each job has a different size and each machine has a different s...

The brain is composed of about 10 neurons (nerve cells) of many different types. Fig.1 is a schematic drawing of a single neuron. Tree-like networks of nerve fiber called dendrites are connected to the cell body (or soma) where the cell nucleus is located. Extending from the cell body is a single long fiber called the axon, which usually branches into many strands, at the ends of which are the ...

Introduction. New methods of teaching in nursing education has not been extensively investigated in Iran. Considering the importance of nursing education promotion and successful application of new methods of teaching, especially focus group method, this study was conducted to determine and compare the effect of lecture, and focus group teaching methods on nursing students' learning in communit...

The theory of support vector machines (SVM), has its origins in the late seventies, in the work of Vapnik [16] on the theory of statistical learning. Lately it has been receiving increasing attention, and many applications as well as important theoretical results are based on this theory. In fact, Support Vector Machines are arguably the most important discovery in the area of machine learning....
